Activities

Function of the Network

The Network, its secretariat and staff will:

1. provide for the exchange of information, ideas, action alerts, etc. among members of the network;  
2. facilitate dialogue among network members, governments and other stakeholders in smart growth;  
3. promote public awareness of smart growth and urban sprawl issues;  
4. provide networking opportunities and public conferences; 
5. respond to, or refer public and media enquiries to the appropriate organization(s).
6. assist the membership to develop strategies, campaigns and projects to promote smart growth;  
7. facilitate the development of member-led projects in support of our mission.
